The Football Match Draw one's pay : 2-2 Goal

The Football Match Draw one's pay : 2-2 Goal

Today’s fixture in the Premier League is certainly an interesting one as Steve Bruce returns to Old Trafford to face his former club Manchester United.
The Sunderland boss spent almost nine years as a Red Devil, a stint which brought three EPL crowns, two FA Cup and League Cup winners’ medals and European Cup Winners’ Cup and European Super Cup triumph.
The Sunderland boss, who takes his team to Old Trafford for the ESPN live Premier League game, told ESPN Soccernet: "There are not many English centre-forwards of his calibre, or indeed playing regular in the Premier League.
"I wouldn't tell Fabio Capello who to choose or who not to choose, but Darren must be in contention. We don't actually have a centre-forward like him, one who scores goals, lead the line, he gives you something slightly different to the rest."
Bruce had a problem with Bent handing over the penalty duties to his Sunderland strike partner Kenwyne Jones in their last match a 5-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers
Bruce says: "Yes I was serious about it, and I told him in no uncertain terms I didn't want that to happen, and it won't happen again. Alright if you're four or five up and the other guy needs one for a hat-trick, then fine. But not when you're 1-0 up. If he'd taken it and scored he would be the Premier League's top goalscorer, which is no mean feat."
But Bruce has no qualms about Bent being on Twitter, despite the fact that it got him into trouble at Tottenham Hotspur when the striker criticised chairman Daniel Levy. Now Bent has posted on the social networking site that he is "mad tired", but looking forward to Saturday's game at Old Trafford.
This should be an interesting game. Sunderland redefined the phrase "parking the bus" at Old Trafford last season, playing 10-0-0 and losing 1-0 to an injury-time winner from Nemanja Vidic, but they are much more comfortable in their own skin these days and I reckon they'll have a go at United's surprisingly fragile defence today. The psychoti fibrous pair of Lee Cattermole and Lorik Cana in the centre of midfield allow them to play 4-4-2, and Darren Bent is in one of his strikingly frequent purple patches. With Ryan Giggs in the mother of all purple patches and Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov playing as well as they ever have together, this should be entertaining stuff.
Premier League: Man Utd v Sunderland (5.30).RUGBY UNION Guinness Premiership: Harlequins v Bath (6.05).RUGBY LEAGUE.Engage Super League, semi-final: St Helens v Wigan (5.30).TOMORROW’S ACTION (3pm unless stated) FOOTBALL
Barclays Premier League: Arsenal v Blackburn (1.30), Chelsea v Liverpool (4pm), Everton v Stoke, West Ham v Fulham.Wiley brings the match to an end. Once again there has been late drama at Old Trafford and Man United have bagged a crucial point. Sunderland though will feel aggrieved as they probably deserved more considering their performance.
