Arsenal host Liverpool this afternoon in the marquee fixture of the Carling Cup fourth round. Arsene will field a slightly more experienced lineup for this round, as first team substitutes, Eduardo and Bendtner, being preferred to reserve team strikers Sunu and Watt. With Liverpool also likely to include a few starters in the first eleven, this should make for an interesting night in North London.
The team that took on West Brom will be very different than the team Arsene will put out tomorrow. Out comes Wilshere and Traore, due to injury. Also Watt, Szczensy, and Sunu will be relegated to the bench. Don't fret though, Nasri, Fabianski, Eduardo, Vela, and Bendtner will all be available.
Arsenal Team News:
Possible Starting XI: Fabianski, Gilbert, Senderos, Silvestre, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Nasri, Eduardo, Vela, Bendtner
Liverpool Team News:
Big news is that neither Torres nor Gerrard will play tonight. Glen Johnson is also unlikely to feature, while Riera and Kelly are out. Dossena will make his return to the Liverpool squad. Other than those players, Rafa could go either way. He usually treats this competition very seriously, but I could see that changing this year.
